Le Valtin is a French commune in the massif des Vosges located in the département des Vosges in Lorraine, in the Grand Est region. It is part of the Communauté de communes des Hautes Vosges and the canton de Gérardmer. Nicknamed the "Sibérie des Vosges", it is the highest commune in the département des Vosges (762 metres in altitude). Its inhabitants are called the Valtinois.
